IMCA and USRA Modified Update
So far for 2015 chassis have come off the jig for Alex Stanford in Chowchilla, CA, and Travis Peery in Williston, ND. Currently on the jig is a chassis going to Michael Maggard of Springfield, MO. Alex Stanford’s car has been picked up and will hopefully debut at Cocopah Speedway’s IMCA Winter Nationals in February. Travis Peery and Michael Maggard will be racing their new P.C.D.’s early in the season as well. Stanford and Peery will compete mainly in IMCA events, with the occasional USRA and USMTS event. Maggard will be competing primarily in USRA events. D.C. Brown Racing will be back on board as well for 2015, fielding two IMCA sport mods driven by Rick Diaz and Cody Brown, as well as an IMCA modified driven by Cody Brown. Also, Rick Wallis of Springdale, AR has joined the P.C.D. team, picking up a USRA modified over the winter break. We look forward to seeing Rick back in a modified after several years of racing late models throughout the midwest.
P.C.D. Race Cars has recently added Swift Springs to the lineup of parts that we carry. Swift Springs sets the bar for lightweight, consistent performance, and high quality in the world of coil springs. Swift Springs are up to 2 pounds per spring lighter than some other brands, and are the most consistent coil springs we’ve dealt with.
C&R Racing offers a variety of racing components from lightweight cooling components, to custom-valved JRi Shocks by Herb Engelhart. Their 19 x 26 double pass radiator is one of the nicer pieces out there, and is a great way to knock several pounds off the front of your car.
Likewise we are dealers for Port City Racing / Integra Shocks, Wehrs’ Machine Racing Products, C&R Racing, Jones Racing Products, Close Racing Supply, and a few other excellent companies. All of these manufacturers provide top-notch parts that we are proud to have on our cars.
